Worst customer service ever, seriously doubting I will give my business to them again

Yesterday, due to a huge lack of communication and laziness by employees of all four of Calgary's Best Buys I ended up driving all over the city wasting a few hours and a half a tank of gas only to be told at each store AFTER calling ahead and after having a staff member verify that the item was indeed in stock to get to the store to find that oh we don't have any after all the systems say we have 3 or 2 or 5 but in actuality nothing is in stock. What's worse was having one store say sure we have one and then have them say they would put it aside as I would be there in 10 minutes only to arrive at the store and have another employee say oops we just sold it didn't think you were going to show up. So now all I have to show for a wasted day is nothing but excuses from people that are just to lazy to tell you the truth or get off there ass and go and look for an item before promising you it is in there store.
BTW the product in question was Apple TV. Only reason I went to best buy was a gift card I received for my birthday otherwise would purchase at (Competitor)
