Is anyone else having problems with the Samsung Galaxy 550(Virgin Mobile). If you are having problems can you please let me know what they are.
I first got my Samsung Galaxy 550 on August 17 2011.
Then toke it back to Virgin Mobile on September 7 2011(to many problems).
Sent it in to Virgin Mobile in October 2011 (to many problems).
A day after I got it back I had so many problems,
Phoned to get it sent in again on November 10 2011.
As you can see I have had many problems with this phone.
If I see that there are lots of people with problems with this phone I am thinking of telling Samsung "I think that the Samsung Galaxy 550 needs work or to be stopped with it being made, here are some of the problems that I have or other people have seen(the problems)."

Can you clarify "to many problems"? What are you personally experiencing that's worth going back to the retailer?

Here are few of the billions of problems that I have:
- Phone will die a hundred times a day, and won't turn on unless I remove the battery door and the battery(I have tried a million different things to get it to turn on without removing the battery etc.)
- I could have my phone on the table and my hands away from the phone and it will randomly type, open apps, etc.
- It takes ten minutes for the phone to turn on.
- The speakers work under 90 percent of the time.
- Apps don't work as they should.
- I loss signal a hundred times a day when someone has the same phone and network has full signal.
- Very leggy.
- And a billion other problems.

The Samsung Galaxy 550 is pretty fast.The touchscreen responds well.
Over all it is worth buying.
I have not faced any problem till yet.

What you could be experiencing is a problem with your phone in particular(it happens, we all have had it happen at least once) if you have a friend with the same phone, on the same carrier - ask to see if they will come with you to the carrier so you can compare what issues are going on. a lot of this sounds like it could be battery related(taking forever to turn on, speaker power etc)
before going to the store here is a quick list of things to try ![]()
1) Have you tried a new battery? May be worth your time as manufactures' do not cover batteries.
2) Software Updates - being an Android phone it may need an update - this can be done either OTA(over the air) or by plugging your phone into the computer and downloading directly from carrier's website
3) Factory Reset? This will erase all settings, apps and information(including contacts and text messages on the phone)
