Media Center

Hi, I want to set up a way to watch movies/videos from a USB on to my TV. My TV is very low caliber and doesn't have any usb ports. I was just going to hook up a raspberry Pi to the tv but it needs to be accessible to my roommates. If there is some type of hardware that could you this, kinda like a plug in play VLC Player, that would be great. Thanks,

Hi @Gumbo Smiley Happy

Can you confirm what Audio/Video inputs your TV has?

What make and model is it?

I believe that this Media Streaming unit from Kaser Net's TV should do what you need .

You and friends may need to install the Kameleon Client Application, to share content.

This model from MiiU should also do the trick,

Re: Media Center

I don't have the make right now but for input it has analog, HDMI, and VGA. I will post again once I have the exact model

Re: Media Center

In that case any Media streaming device with USB input will work for your purpose as they all have HDMI output to connect to the TV.

You may also consider the Roku Media Streaming units with USB inputs .
