Last week, I wrote about Playbook introducing the all-new OS 2.0. And I have to say that after further test driving the new Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 I am even more impressed by the new features the software provided for today’s business professional. After another week I’ve come to realize that the Playbook offers some additional new features (that I didn’t touch on in the last post) that make this tablet both a powerhouse for work and play.
App’s abound now with a massive new addition of thousands of App’s once only available through Android or Apple operating systems. Blackberry has stepped up their game, literally, with thousands of games and other popular Apps that have come to be a staple for any tablet user. Even the most driven and focused CEO’s still need a little down time, so why not with a game of Angry Birds, or Cut the Rope.
The ever popular Kobo App works perfectly with the new Playbook, turning your tablet into an e-reader at the touch of a finger. When it comes to Kobo there’s no limit, and no genre not available for download. From hard hitting business books to harlequin romance, you have it all.
What’s a long plane ride without a good movie? There’s no shortage of movies and television shows with the new Blackberry Video Store. All the latest and all the greatest movies and television shows are downloadable in seconds with the upgraded Playbook. When you’re not traveling, you can easily connect your playbook to your home TV and watch whatever content you have downloaded in the comfort of your living room. Although this feature is currently only available in the United States at launch, we’re promised it will quickly be available in Canada and across the globe very soon.
No business trip, or tablet for that matter should be all work and no play. Bring the best of both worlds together with the new operating system from Blackberry Playbook.
