It absolutely AMAZES me that a company that is this big has online sales on servers that can't handle the load.  Just baffles me.  Three hours later, and I can't even get to the checkout.  All I get is errors.  If they're going to have these 'big' online sales, then they need TO GET A SERVER THAT CAN HANDLE THE LOAD.  Otherwise, DON'T HAVE THEM.  It's extremely frustrating for your customers.  I'm lost for words...  Every year it's the SAME THING.  I don't have this problem with any other company.

I'm glad I'm at home and not making my orders from work....

My single purchase.... took over 90 minutes of trying and retrying a dozen times, 30 minutes was stuck in the waiting room.  Gave on up on the reward card (I wonder that's what started the problems), and charged the full balance on the credit card.  I could see my item was stuck in my cart and I refuse to give up on it.

When it was completed.... what did I order? how many did I order? where did I ship it?  Checking my email there's nothing there to say the transaction went through.  Hopefully it's one purchase and not 12 shows up on door step.  The website disable order check up until tomorrow morning.

I would not say it was less painful than driving to the store for the 6am opening on the 26th.

I hope the technicians are studying the error logs and learning from their experience.  Perhaps consider moving some transactions to the US servers to speed things up.

Hi xl and presstoplay,

Thank you both for your feedback and comments. We prepare for Boxing Day all year to deliver the best deals on electronics to our customers and though we examined every detail to ensure everything runs smoothly, we still encountered some issues. Rest assured we are investigating the causes in order to put plans in place for next year.
