Plug-in_PlaysOfTheWeek.jpgAn adorable 90-year-old is introduced to electronica, the viral sh*t people say sensation continues with one of Canada’s premier ski destinations, and a few of our favorite teasers for this Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup between the G-Men and the Pats. Check out this week’s Plug-in Plays of the Week!

My Grandpa Al reacts to Dubstep

Over the past few weeks, several videos have surfaced on YouTube, capturing different people’s reaction to the song DubStep, by Skrillex. There have been babies, cats (ofcourse), and employees caught dancing to it on surveillance video. But my favorite is this 90 year old fella trying to decipher real instruments when his grandson plays the song for him.

Sh*t Skiers Say

I believe this whole phenomenon began with the popular Twitter handle @sh*tmydadsays, which turned into a syndicated TV show starring William Shatner, although it was cancelled as quickly as it came. This term has been spun off into countless viral videos and twitter handles, but among my faves is this clever vid produced by the fine folks at Whistler Blackcomb.

The Bark Side: 2012 Volkswagen Game Day Commercial Teaser

This ad is the perfect follow up to last year’s hit Super Bowl commercial from Volkswagon where a little boy dressed as Darth Vader channels his super powers. If you’re a fan of Star Wars, you should recognize this tune brought to you by a chorus of cute pups.

Doritos - Bird of Prey -- Crash the Super Bowl 2012 Finalist

In a time where many of us ignore commercials or omit them altogether with the help of a PVR, Doritos is still the master at producing a funny ad. Here’s the first of two from Doritos, this one was a concept submitted by a fan for the Crash the Super Bowl competition. Wonder if we’ll see this one air on Sunday?

Doritos® - Sling Baby -- Crash the Super Bowl 2012 Finalist

There seems to be a tried and true formula, when it comes to producing a YouTube video one hopes will go viral. Include a cat, baby or both. In this case, Doritos plays up the baby angle (taking a page from the brilliant e-Trade ads) and voila – an instant hit.
