Release Your Inner Barista With Keurig

When it comes to being a domestic goddess I’ve never had much success.  At times I’ve found that even reheating a frozen burrito is a challenge. So admittedly, it’s not often that I attempt to release my inner Betty Crocker, which I’m told is somewhere deep within – very deep.

Review: Canon G12 Camera

About a year ago I decided I wanted to start dabbling in photography. I wasn’t quite in the market for a full-blown SLR, but I also knew that my existing Canon PowerShot wouldn’t really cut it when it came to exploring the art of photography. After a little bit of research and a few discussions with my much more creative friends, I opted for the Canon G12. While it’s still considered a point-and-shoot, it brings to the table a whole lot more functionality than your standard pocket sized camera, making it a stalwart of the high-end compact camera market. In fact, the G12 was specifically designed to satisfy the demands of those photogs that want a powerful backup to their SLR … who knew??

Get ready for Dishonored

by Blogger on ‎10-04-2012 09:25 PM - last edited on ‎10-05-2012 09:40 AM by Blogger

As the October 9th release nears ever closer, the buzz around the first-person stealth action adventure game ‘Dishonored’ is building and it’s not hard to see why. Set in the fictional city of Dunwall, Dishonored combines a storyline beyond anything you’ve ever experienced, brilliant graphics, and celebrity voices to boot.

Step back in time and lose yourself on the dark, dank streets of the industrial city of Dunwall as you follow Corvo Attano, a bodyguard to the Empress who becomes framed for murder. Assisting Attano is the Outsider, a magical being who grants him magical abilities with which to exact revenge. And because he’s forced by fate to become an assassin, Attano takes no mercy and spares no bloodshed while he carries out assassination missions against those who have conspired against him.

Move your remote control clutter to the recycling bin and get ready for a better way. Logitech has announced the newest addition to its line of Harmony remotes, the Harmony Touch.

Available later this month, the Harmony Touch is more than just a remote for your TV, it controls all of your home theatre devices and entertainment with a simple, intuitive one-touch colour screen. It lets you swipe and scroll through everything you want to watch, play, or interact with.

Part of getting the most out of your favourite smartphone is keeping the battery juiced up and ready to go wherever you are. After all, if you’re walking around with an almost dead battery, it’s going to be kind of hard to talk, text, or even surf when you need it.

For those times when you find yourself away from a charger for extended periods of time and you want to squeeze as much from your iPhone or Android battery as long as possible, here are a few ways you can increase your time between charges without turning off your phone:
