Have you ever wanted to display some holiday pics from your laptop on your TV, but couldn’t be bothered with confusing cables and readjusting your entertainment system? Ever wanted to stream some video clips you took on your phone onto your laptop, without having to download them? I have – in both cases – found myself frustrated with how complicated it was to share content between devices. Now you can create a completely wireless, interconnected network in your home with Samsung AllShare and share content stress free.
I think the newly launched Samsung ES8000 Plasma TV is the best TV on the market. This TV truly is different, in a fantastic way! It is a Smart TV that is now smarter than most, if not all phones, and it is loaded with more features than you can imagine or ever need. Technology seems to be morphing across many boundaries, and this TV is much more than just a TV. It is a multi-media device that can do so many things. It is fully Olympic ready, as I think it will beat any other TV on the market.
One easy way to go green and save money at the same time is to take the LCD plunge. Trade in your large, clunky CRT monitor for a sleek, slime energy-efficient, flat-panel monitor.

A number of new innovations were announced during the Samsung press conference yesterday, with perhaps the biggest news being the unveiling of the Super OLED TV. This was a tough event to get into, but waiting in the 2 hour lineup with a gaggle of journalists and industry insiders was well worth it! We've got all the details here.
This holiday season bring your family together using a brand new smart TV! We’ve all heard of smartphones, but some may still not be in the loop when it comes to the new concept of “Smart TVs”. The time has finally come where TV and Internet are fully available on your TV without having a third party box. It’s all made possible with the Smart TV. Gone are the days of turning on your TV and simply flipping from channel to channel. Today we have so many more options available on these gigantic devices. Think of a smart TV as a giant tablet that you attach to your wall. They may not have touch capabilities (yet!), but what they do have is a plethora of interactive applications (apps) that you can enjoy.
This coming Sunday is a very important day in sports. You might even call it the Canadian Super Bowl. If you follow sports at all, you know that it is the 99th Grey Cup, which will see the BC Lions host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on home turf. It’s going to be a gooder, that’s for sure. However, tickets are pretty hard to come by – trust me, I know … I’ve been trying to find them for weeks! But I digress. So for us lowly folk who were unable to, or simply didn’t want to attend the game in person, how can we make the most of our Grey Cup viewing experience?
Besides great friends and great food, a great big screen TV helps take Grey Cup Sunday from entertaining to spectacular. So here’s a breakdown of four of the best big screen TVs on the market right now to help make the selection process a little bit easier for you.

This is exactly what everyone wants to be doing! Why should your content only be in once place? You should be able to watch it where ever you want whenever you want! However, moving your data between devices can be tricky, especially if they are not all made by the same manufacturer. If you happen to have all Apple Products (iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV) no problem! You’re first step should be to upgrade to iOS 5.0 and turn on iCloud on all your mobile devices. Then you’ll want to turn on home sharing on all of your devices on your network and barring any unforeseen problems you’re good to share. If you download something for your phone (say the latest song from your favorite artist) it will show up on your iPad and computer. And if you want to watch it on your TV you can push it there using AirPlay and your AppleTV.
Not only is the scary Halloween season in our midst, Christmas is also on it's way! When it comes to home entertainment, there's nothing like watching great movies in 3D.
Yes, that’s correct. Samsung has just launched the mother of all TV’s that takes television to the next level. In addition to some sweet features that I’ll mention later in this post, this high definition 3D TV is equipped for free Internet calls. It seems that Facebook isn’t the only company that’s partnered with Skype recently. The all-new Samsung 46” 1080p 120Hz 3D LED HDTV comes with Skype software built right in.

This years hockey playoffs have been a nail biter to say the least, but the best action on the ice is yet to come with the final games here this week.
Faithfully, I have been watching my home team - the Canucks, fight their way to the Stanley Cup. And at last, their persistence and hard work has paid off. Canada (and especially Vancouver) are cheering them on every step of the way. So in the spirit of group cheer, I decided to watch Game #1 with a few friends instead of yelling at the TV by myself at home. Then disaster struck...

Both my parents are from England and as a citizen of the United Kingdom, I pretty much feel like it’s my patriotic duty to be completely obsessed with the Royals!! I'm going to be celebrating in style, will you?
Spring is in the air and with it comes the unmistakable scent of competition. Right now, fans in sixteen cities across North America are lining up to purchase all things NHL related. It’s a time of year when wearing a jersey with jeans is considered corporate-casual, when even the scraggliest of playoff beards is something of which one should be proud, and when a diet of beer and wings is standard. I’m talking about the Stanley Cup playoffs!
Still rocking an old school box-style TV? Now is the perfect time to upgrade to something a little more “playoff worthy.”
So our amplifier recently fried itself which sent my husband on the search to find a new one. Deciding that we needed something bigger and better than the last but also realizing I wouldn’t let him fork out a small fortune, we opted for the second-hand route. I’m pleased to report the process went pretty smoothly and we’re now the proud owners of a new (but older) amp that’s more fan-dangled than the last. Be warned however, the second-hand route may not be for everyone. It does raise some issues that need to be considered...
Buying a 3D TV has a ton of benefits over a standard 2D set.
Firstly, it takes twice the amount of processing power to display a 3D image. 3D TVs display 2 1080P signals at the same time, most still maintaining a 120Hz frame rate. As a result, when just watching 2D broadcasts, the TV can take more information before bogging down. When TVs get overwhelmed, the resolution tends to be the first to be sacrificed turning a 720P broadcast into something comparable to YouTube.
