Thanks for starting a Transformers steelbook thread.
This was also. asked on another thread. Click through here.
For the Transformers steelbooks, I've been told that May 30, 2017 is the release date (UPDATED).
I'm unsure if these are online only or available in stores as well. I have not received an answer regarding this. As for future inventory, I also have not yet received any info on this. So the future availability of this is TBD as of this moment.

As per @BBYTerence in the general steelbook discussion thread, they're coming on April 30, as the website indicates. And yes, we all know it's a Sunday.
As per another thread -- http://plug-in.bestbuy.ca/t5/Movies-TV-Shows/transformers-steelbooks/td-p/174710 -- it is unclear if there will be more stock allocated for in-store or online.

Hey guys as we all know as stated on the Best Buy Canada Website The 4 Transformers steelbooks are slated to release April 30,2017 which is a Sunday. But I came across something on the Best Buy USA site concerning these updated releases of these movies on Steebook. First off they are not getting the Transfomers movies on Steelbook which is a nice for Canadians to finally get our own BB Canada exclusive. Secondly, Best Buy USA is giving a release date of 06/06/2017; I have placed the links for each of these movies to show you the regular Bluray art is the same as the Steelbook art.
I know @BBYTerence has looked into this and indicated and has stated they're coming on April 30, as our website indicates. Which leaves me curious as to why the conflicting dates; usually no matter if the movie is steelbook or regular bluray and/or Best Buy Canada or USA the release dates are usually the same. I am not trying to beat a dead horse on this topic; but I am curious as to why is there a difference in the release dates ( I could care less why they are not getting the steelbook; I am just glad we are ).

Release date for NEW release are always the same in USA & Canada.
BUT, for Catalogue titles (older), different dates happened before.
An exemple I can give you: Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark. This was part of a wave released exclusively at "a-now-dead-music-dealer" here in Canada on August 2014:
Then, they appeared in the USA in September 2014:
Then, a re-release at Best Buy Canada and USA in May 2015:
So, even if it would be surprising such a big gap between April 30, and then June 6, it's still possible... My bet would be on June 6 as the next Transformers movie is due June 23rd.

I am also glad I am not the only one who had seen and was also wondering the same thing; but they do not have a steelbook (we do though). Thank You @Drum18, for explaining that to me but as much as I would love for these steelbooks to be released on April 30 I have a gut feeling that it will be released on June 6 to coincide with the next Transformers movie on June 23rd. Also, after reading the message that @Jacques1400 got concerning the delay in delivery of the La La Land steelbooks I am starting to question the accuracy of their information (but I may be wrong and may be postal related).
On a side note @Drum18 I am going to greatly miss that 3 letter music and bluray dealer that is now dead.
