...And now a bunch of us start receiving our tracking information from Canada Post which tells us the units were JUST PICKED UP tonight - March 3rd.
Mine says delivery March 9th. March 9th!!!!...
I am in Calgary and have the same thing...March 9th for the console and March 8th for Zelda? For expedited service, that seems unbelievably slow and unacceptable. March 7th should be the delivery standard at least, especially considering the shipping window guidelines BestBuy provides.

Mine was shipped Thursday and Canada Post has the delivery set for Wednesday. 6 days from Mississauga to Winnipeg. This is their standard now. It's been like this for a couple of years. It use to be three days from Mississauga. Sadly, Canada Post is no rush to deliver their packages. Guess I should be grateful it's not going to take longer with the increase of packages due to the Switch orders.

I know exactly how the system works because i've done shipping/receiving for a different company and used Canada Post/Purolator/DHL-Loomis on a daily basis. If a constumer is told they're going to get a product on a certain day, pays a decent sum of money (Switch + 1 game = $500+) it's not unreasonable to be frustrated when it doesn't arrive on time and you have to wait potentially 4+ days after release.
Unless Best Buys managements gives us a valid reason for the delay it's their fault for not shipping the systems/games out on Thursday to the prairies so they'd be there for Friday. They're not low on stock or anything like that, they just weren't ready and had to rush to get them ready for Friday night which is odd considering the system sold out in hours so it should have been noted weeks before to have the product ready to go.

The expectation would be that they would ship early since they were sitting in the warehouse. I have ordered consoles before that arrived on release date because they were shipped staggered so that people in different areas would get them on time. If they would have made it much more clear that it takes 5 days to ship from richmond to calgary, many would have likely bought a switch elsewhere. If I would have known mine wouldn't ship until Friday evening, I would have bought through other retailers which which would arrive Monday.
